This past week I dug into the incredible opportunity to join Rebecca Cafiero in her “You Are The Expert Challenge” and it’s already completely changed my life… And I’m not just being dramatic. I’ve joined MANY free challenges and trainings over the last nearly 3 years of being a small business owner and, yes, I gained helpful resources and ideas from most of them, but none of them actually helped me gain clarity and direction as to the brand and person I know I am called towards…
This past week I dug into the incredible opportunity to join Rebecca Cafiero in her “You Are The Expert Challenge” and it’s already completely changed my life… And I’m not just being dramatic. I’ve joined MANY free challenges and trainings over the last nearly 3 years of being a small business owner and, yes, I gained helpful resources and ideas from most of them, but none of them actually helped me gain clarity and direction as to the brand and person I know I am called towards. This challenge was different, and something in my spirit told me I needed to really dig in this time. I’ve had this lingering “feeling” in my spirit for the last couple of months that God was preparing me for some BIG changes. If I’m being completely honest though, I still doubted that I could be or do anything more than I already am because I’ve still got “too much to work through” and “I haven’t arrived yet.” Welp, turns out I was wrong about all that. I learned a limitless amount of knowledge about all things business and brand building, which were all absolutely phenomenal. However, the biggest breakthrough came when Rebecca affirmed that we are ALL works in progress. We can’t just stop climbing the HUGE mountains (challenges) that life throws at us. We can’t just wait for the mountain to go away before we start moving forward and growing. We can’t wait until we’ve “arrived” before we start making the impact we’re called to make… We’d be waiting forever. Haven’t you ever read Dr. Suess’s classic book “Oh, The Places You’ll Go”? Do you remember the waiting place? IT’S THE MOST USELESS PLACE! I know for me personally; I’ve been stuck in the waiting place for FAR TOO LONG. But now, I’m escaping, I’m finding the bright places and I’M GOING TO MOVE MOUNTAINS. There will ALWAYS be another mountain to climb… don’t let that hold you back from doing the hard work to continue climbing.
I am endlessly thankful for Rebecca and her staff for all the wisdom, courage, and sacrifice to make this challenge happen. YOU are the perfect example of why it’s important to keep climbing despite the circumstances that the world says “should” hold you back from making an impact. You are changing lives and making it possible for others to change lives too. YOU are world changer.
